Paediatric First Aid Training is a specialised qualification designed for those who care for babies and children, such as nursery workers, childminders, teachers, and parents.
Study Hours
The duration of a Paediatric First Aid course depends on which version you require to meet your specific legal or personal needs:
Numbers:
A maximum of 12 students are allowed on the course, and they must be a minimum of 14 years of age. A certificate can be offered to all, subject to assessment.
Entry Requirements;
There are no specific entry requirements, but learners should have a minimum of Level 2 in literacy or numeracy or equivalent. The qualification is suitable for learners aged 14 years and above
Assessment:
To earn your Paediatric First Aid certificate, you must pass a formal assessment and demonstrate both your physical skills and your theoretical knowledge. Because this course involves the safety of infants and children, the evaluation is thorough but practical.
Certificates:
Certificates are valid for 3 years.
