The Basic Life Support (BLS) + AED course is a high-intensity, practical training session designed to teach the essential life-saving skills needed to respond to a cardiac arrest.
3 hours of practical training.

A cardiac arrest can happen at any time, and when it does, every second matters. Knowing how to use an AED is proven to save lives. This 3-hour course covers how to find, when to use and how to use an AED. Learners will also learn how to perform CPR on an infant/child and an adult. We have also included how to deal with a choking casualty.
This course is great as a supplement to your current first aid training; however, it does not meet the risk assessment needs for FAW/EFAW qualified first aiders, as per HSE guidelines.
Safety Fit Training uses scenario-based training techniques as these are proven to maximise recall and provide learners with the skills, knowledge and confidence to act effectively when emergencies arise.
